Job Summary
Progressive Technology is hiring energetic, detail‑oriented Packing Associates for Flipkarts day-shift warehouse operations. In this role, you will pick, pack, label, and securely seal customer orders while maintaining high accuracy, speed, and hygiene standards. Key Responsibilities
Pick items from shelves/racks as per the order list (pick list) using scanners or manifests.
Pack, seal, label, and barcode parcels accurately to meet quality and safety standards.
Perform QC (quality checks) to ensure correct SKUs, quantities, and damage-free products.
Maintain inventory hygiene—report shortages, damages, or misplaced stock.
Keep the packing station clean, organized, and compliant with 5S and safety norms.
Meet or exceed daily productivity & accuracy targets (AOP/SLAs).
Coordinate with supervisors, inventory controllers, and dispatch teams for smooth outbound flow.
Follow SOPs for material handling equipment (MHE) and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Assist during cycle counts / stock audits when required.
Adhere to company policies on attendance, conduct, and safety.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Minimum qualification: 10th / 12th pass (Graduate candidates are welcome).
Basic reading & counting ability in English/Hindi/local language to interpret labels and manifests.
Ability to use handheld scanners / basic apps (training provided).
Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality.
Physically fit to stand, walk, bend, and lift light-to-moderate weights throughout the shift.
Team player with good discipline, punctuality, and work ethic.
Experience
0–2 years of experience in warehouse/logistics/e‑commerce operations preferred.
Freshers welcome—full training will be provided.
Working Hours
Day Shift: Typically 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (with meal/tea breaks as per site policy).
Weekly off as per roster/warehouse schedule (usually 1 day per week).
Overtime/extended hours may be required during peak sale events or high-volume periods (paid as per policy).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Understanding of basic warehouse operations (picking, packing, dispatch).
Familiarity with SKUs, barcodes, and order IDs (can be learned on the job).
Safety-first mindset—ability to follow HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) guidelines.
Time management & target orientation to meet daily throughput.
Basic problem-solving—flagging stock mismatches, damages, or system errors promptly.
