Medical Transcription - Internship

About the internship:

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Transcribing medical conversations using pre-recorded audio files.
2. Applying speaker labeling accurately roles as per project standards.
3. Using proper text tags, identifying and labeling crosstalk, filler words, vocalic and unintelligible speech.
4. Maintaining high transcription accuracy by correcting:
5. Grammar, punctuation, casing
6. Number formatting and scientific terms
7. Brand vs. generic medicine capitalization
8. Following segmentation rules, ensuring each segment is properly timed, speaker-tagged, and language-isolated.
9. Using platform-specific tools
10. Tagging foreign language portions appropriately
11. Reviewing ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition) output and improving where necessary without adding unspoken content.

Key Requirements:

1. Strong command over one or more listed languages
2. Excellent grammar, punctuation, and listening skills
3. Familiarity with medical vocabulary is a plus
4. Ability to follow strict transcription and annotation guidelines
5. Basic technical proficiency with transcription platforms/tools
6. Ability to differentiate between spoken vs. written forms

Stipend:

INR₹ 10,000 - 12,000 /month
