Job Summary

Civil Engineer – Estimating & Tendering

A genuine opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and experienced Civil Engineer to work closely with the Directors of Neacon Civil Australia Pty Ltd on civil estimating and tendering works for Australian local councils, and state/national road infrastructure projects.

Reporting directly to two Australian civil engineering Directors, the successful candidate will be responsible for:Downloading and reviewing tender documents from web portals registered by the company.

Preparing detailed Bill of Quantities estimates using first principles estimating methods – incorporating labour, plant, materials, and subcontractor elements.

Obtaining and comparing subcontractor and supplier quotes to inform accurate and competitive tender submissions.

Completing Request for Quotation (RFQ) Forms with appropriate detail and supplier/subcontractor information.

Updating project delivery strategy documents in line with project scopes and using historical templates as a guide.

Developing tender programs using Primavera P6 and integrating scheduling into the tendering process.

Managing and maintaining spreadsheet registers to track all submitted tenders.

Reviewing and applying local/state government specifications and regulatory requirements relevant to each tender.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required)

Minimum 1–2 years of civil estimating experience

Strong ability to read and interpret civil plans, and produce accurate quantity take-offs

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)

Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills

Effective time management and ability to meet tight tender deadlines

Strong understanding of project management principles

Experience using Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
